The Next Star Citizen Free Fly Starts on 14 May 2026
The next Star Citizen Free Fly starts on 14 May 2026 at 1600 UTC (Noon Eastern / 9 AM Pacific). Once it starts, the Star Citizen Free Fly will be available until 27 May 2026 at 2000 UTC (4 PM Eastern / 1 PM Pacific). This Star Citizen Free Fly accompanies the DefenseCon 2956 in-game event that replaced the usual Invictus Launch Week event this year.
In order to play Star Citizen during the Free Fly, you need to have a Star Citizen account. The Enlist with Referral page includes detailed instructions for creating a free Star Citizen account with a referral code to unlock the 50000 credit referral bonus.
