The Start Star Citizen Purpose, Vision, and Mission

Our purpose is to enable players of all experience levels to have the best start possible in Star Citizen.

Our vision is to be the first trusted resource that all players interested in Star Citizen find and use to get started with Star Citizen.

Our mission is to create high-quality, informative, and useful guides and analyses that provide players with the information they need to start playing Star Citizen and stay informed on the development of Star Citizen.

We first backed Star Citizen in 2021, and while we may not be original backers, we’ve found a set of very informative resources that enabled us to learn more about Star Citizen, what it will be, the history of the game’s development, and the latest status. 

Game development is a complex process, and doubly so for a game with the scope of Star Citizen. Fortunately, we have worked on challenging projects in the aerospace industry for over a decade, so we understand complex development. While games do not have the same safety and reliability needs of aerospace products, our experience gives us insight into how the various parts and pieces from different organizations are integrated to create functional products, whether games or airplanes, that meet the needs of various stakeholders.

Experience with complex development projects helps us to connect the dots between the available bits of information and ultimately simplify that information into guides and analyses that we hope you and other players find to be helpful.

Our experiences playing Star Citizen and the aspirations of the Star Citizen developers inspired us to create this website. Being able to seamlessly transition between every location, ship, and action is beyond impressive, and we could not get enough of playing Star Citizen. However, we struggled to find helpful resources when we first started playing. Over time, we were able to simplify the initial steps and identify the Star Citizen resources that elevated our Star Citizen experience and thought that other players could benefit from what we learned!
