Get Started In Four Steps!
1. Set up an RSI Account
The Star Citizen universe can be a dangerous place filled with opportunity, but before you can start playing, you need to sign up for an account on the Roberts Space Industries website. We list out the steps you need to take to sign up (aka 'Enlist') and provide the answers to frequently asked questions about the RSI account.
2. Pick a Starter Package
In Star Citizen, your ship more than just a vehicle. Your ship is the way to explore, make a living, and may even be your home. We offer our recommendations on which starter ship and package you should choose, provide detailed instructions for how to obtain a starter package, and answer some common questions!
3. Download and Install Star Citizen
Once you have a Star Citizen account and a starter package (or joined a free fly), then you can download and install Star Citizen. We have detailed instructions for how to install the game and get to the point that you can launch it!
4. Play Star Citizen
Finally, it is time to play Star Citizen! The game has a very steep learning curve, but don't let the challenge hold you back. We consolidated some hard-learned lessons and guiding resources to help you succeed as you start playing Star Citizen.
